How do I adjust the volume?
Adjusting the listening volume can be accomplished in a variety of ways. Keep in mind that volume adjustments apply to the streamed signal only, not the volume of normal environmental sounds.
Use the “+” and “-“ keys on the ReSound Unite TV to adjust volume to a comfortable level. Make sure that your hearing instruments are comfortably adjusted before you change the settings with the volume control. In most cases this adjustment should only be made one time, as Resound Unite TV is intended as a “set and forget” type of device.
b. Use the ReSound Unite Remote Control (optional) to adjust volume. Ask your hearing care professional for more information about this accessory.
c. The volume can in some cases be further adjusted at the signal source, for example by turning the TV itself down. In many cases this will adjust the volume of both streamed audio (transmitted wirelessly to your hearing instruments) and non-streamed audio (sounds reaching the hearing aid microphones in the normal fashion). Of course, this will also affect listening volume for others in the room.

how do I shut off the unite TV stremer or should I leave it on allday?
Hi John, Thank you for contacting us. There is no power switch on the TV Streamer. All you need to do is activate it when you want to stream and move back to normal programming when you are done streaming. If you have additional questions, please contact our Consumer Technical Support Team at 888-735-4327 and choose option 1.
My dogs collar got hooked to the Resound TV cord. Just about ripped the TV down, anyway.
I was using the 2 wire hook up ( know idea the correct name) The cord with the Mental connection in the back center is fine. It’s the fiber optic cord I now can not make a connection. I can see the fiber optics wire, but I see no way to plug it into he base.
Can I use 3 wire hook up wires in its place?
Also can I purchase a new fiber optics wire hook up ?
If so where, in the Detroit Michigan area?

You absolutely failed to show how to connect it to a computer! That’s why I’m buying one!
I have a pair of Resound Lynx Quattro hearing aids and a Resound TV Streamer 2.
I have set up and used the streamer with the aids. It works well when the TV is operating on an aerial based system (e.g. Freeview) My problem is that it does not work with streaming based television viewing (e.g. Netflix and YouTube). When I connect the Resound streamer, the streaming from my router is interrupted, and the programme freezes. If I switch off the Resound unit, the streaming of the programme restarts. This problem is apparent whatever device I am using to stream (e.g. using an iPad to stream to the TV via Chromecast, or streaming directly on my smart television). I have tried setting up the device on each of the three channels, but this does not overcome the problem. Please can you tell me if there is any way to avoid this problem. I am currently based in Greece, so most of my television viewing is streamed, and the TV streamer unit is almost useless.
Thank you for your attention
