Of course watching TV and talking on the telephone are key components of any user’s day. However it is equally important that the hearing aids perform well when users are simply out enjoying their everyday life as well. The hearing instrument needs to provide rich and natural sound, and the technology must be advanced enough to adapt seamlessly to all listening situations. The levels of automation among hearing instruments vary greatly and are one of the key distinctions among different models. It is important that a hearing instrument can adapt as easily to a restaurant as it can to quiet one-on-one conversation.
