Hi!
I stumbled across your blog and noticed the great content you write about. Over the last few months I’ve been researching and writing about (children/family health, hearing loss, aging, etc) and decided to begin blogging about it. I am very passionate about these issues, and since this past May was National Better Hearing and Speech Month, I feel that it is important to continue to spread awareness. I’m wondering if you ever accept guest posts on those topics? If so, I would be happy to send you an article to review. Please let me know what you think, thanks!
Best,
John
Hi John,
Thanks for your inquiry. We’re certainly open to guest posts. I will email you to follow up.
Hi, I am trying to find help on the Internet for my problem, which is that I can not connect my Resound Unite TV device to my Sony Bravia television. The device works really well in the other room with the (older) Sony Trinitron television. Please can you help me? Thanks, Becky
You can use one side of the RCA cable we provide and set the streamer to Mono. Otherwise the Bravia has the digital outputs. You could purchase the Gefen audio adapter or wait a few weeks to get the Unite TV Streamer 2 with the built in converter and digital cables.
My husband recently bought the ReSound Unite TV equipment to provide watching the TV as a good experience. Well, it does not work. We when back to the audiologist without success.
We also have a Sony Bravia TV. What do we need to enhance his TV viewing?
Please can you call consumer tech support for assistance? Here’s the number: (888) 735-4327. If you still have problems, I would ask your audiologist to call ReSound Tech Support.
Hi, this is the reply I got from a similar query… You can use one side of the RCA cable we provide and set the streamer to Mono. Otherwise the Bravia has the digital outputs. You could purchase the Gefen audio adapter or wait a few weeks to get the Unite TV Streamer 2 with the built in converter and digital cables. … I have not been able to make it work, but have not purchased anything additional yet. Good luck!
Does GN ReSound employ audiologists?
Yes, we have a Global Audiology Team of audiologists.
Do you rework hearing aids to add directional microphones? I have two CIC but am having
problems hearing. It seems my ears are stopped up. I believe I need to add additional microphones. Please advise. Bob
Hi Bob,
Unfortunately we can’t rework a CIC product to add directional microphones. Directional microphones start with our ITC product (larger form factor to accommodate the additional microphone). This would be considered a model change.
I would recommend going back to your audiologist. He/she might be able to adjust your hearing aids to resolve your issue.
Hi There!
I’ve really taken a liking to this blog. I feel that it does a good service talking about underserved topics in hearing health related issues.
I’d love to write a guest post about tinnitus. I also run a tinnitus blog and have a summary of my prior guest posts here: http://www.audionotch.com/blog/announcement/summary-of-audionotch-guest-posts/
Disclosure: my blog is affiliated with a web service that provides sound therapy for tinnitus.
I’d love to hear from you!

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your comment. I tried to visit your blog but it is classed as a “dangerous site”.
Could you pleas tell me if the LINX is ready for sale? And a recommendation for an audiologist who carries it near zip code 98074. Thank you.
Hi Sally,
You can visit resoundlinx.com to sign up to be notified as soon as LiNX is available. You can also use our locator tool at http://www.gnresound.com/find-a-professional to find an audiologist in your area.
For the last two weeks I have been searching hearing aid technology. Today I found out about Linx. I sigh ed up for the latest news but I just can’t wait to get my set. I would be glad to pay in advance for one of the instruments to come to Oklahoma. I was born in 1943. Everyone thinks I’m 50 something. I damaged my hearing in the 70’s shooting pistols. 40 years of tinnitus is enough to make me search for help with my lack of hearing quality. I am excited !!
I have damaged my inner ear ReSound hearing aid. I have had them since May 2014. Are they covered under warranty. One fell onto the floor & the heavy box they were stored in fell on one device & cracked the case. Any recommendations?
Hi Nelson, we’re sorry to hear about your hearing aids. Your hearing care professional will be able to help you determine if they can be fixed or replaced under warranty. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact our Consumer Support Team at (888) 735-4327!
Well done such a big issue in the US and not much is done about it hopefully new research will lead to cure. Tinnitus is a form of brain damage form what i have learned fortunately i only suffer at night when it is silent.
